2024 Wrapped!

What a year! So many ups and downs- much like you no doubt. One major high was meeting you. You inspired me to keep going with the art, especially when it got tough trying to juggle and balance multiple aspects of life where one element was so draining you could see it on my face at events. A few of you were very kind and helped me think of solutions to the problem as well as a bit of handholding. And, for that I say thank you. Every interaction has meant so much to me. It pretty much gave me a reason to get up in the morning.

I wanted to share with you what your support has enabled me to achieve this year.

I got to host stands at over 40 events. 45 to be precise, where we more than likely first met. Out of those 45 events, I got to host 13 workshops with my new brand partners’ Striking Events Ltd and Bolt Events Ltd as of May 2024. At all of these events, you helped me sell a grand total of:

• 957 art prints of various shapes and sizes

• 134 custom artworks

• 82 wooden eco pins

And so so much more…

And last but not least, a whole bunch of creative opportunities that I cannot wait to share with you. The contracts prevent me from sharing until the client goes live first…

Another great achievement that I wouldn’t have been able to do without meeting a particular individual- whom has asked to remain nameless; is that I now get to do a spot of freelance work for both Marvel and Star Wars, in the form of sketch cards for Fanatics/ Topps Collectibles. Who knows where this will lead to?

Hive City Gaming

I got to design and develop a brand identity for them including: logo, event flyers, game schedules and merch.

Aardvark's, Bears, and Collectables

Catherine, the owner, approached me at Striking Event’s Peterborough Comic Con and Toyfair asking about the possibility of designing a fun logo for her new business venture.

As well as….

• Femme On - Podcast Episode

• Reverie Graphic Novel Volume 2 (predicted launch of May 2025)

• A children’s comic-esque book (predicted to launch in August 2025)

Outside of the art world, some personal achievements I’m super proud of this year are:

I finally achieved chartered marketer status through the Cambridge Marketing College, officiated by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). If you need any marketing consultation on your website, branding or marketing in general, hit me up. I have over 10 years marketing experience lol.

2025 is set up to be another good year. I’ve got around 20-25 events booked in with around 15 workshops planned.
